Pathways of Hope makes a positive difference in the lives of the more vulnerable members of our community.
Our Mission
The purpose of the Pathways of Hope Foundation, LLC is to enrich the community by providing social support, such as education, daycare, housing, and senior services.
Our Service Area
Our community includes the city of Williamsburg and the counties of James City County, upper York County, and New Kent County.
Our Goal
As we start out, our goal is to raise $100,000 to start up the foundation and to initiate a grant process for parents and to network with the private, licensed childcare facilities in the service area.
After the foundation is established, our next steps are to identify a facility to house a senior day care program and to staff it with trained volunteers and part-time employees. Additionally, we want to initiate a needs assessment to ascertain what childcare and senior services will be needed in the near future.
